There are Red, Green and School Weeks.
There is a draw for each category. If you get a
green allocation one year you then get a red
allocation the year afterwards.

Draws for weeks tend to take place at the end of year
 (usually November) AGM, where they are drawn on a
"two years ahead" basis. For example, if this as the 2022 AGM,
then the draw would be for the 2024 seasons allocations.
Priority for school holidaysThere are six share holders each with a two
week school holiday option.

General Comments About the Boat

Birchwood 340AC built 2000 for the 2001 season.

This has the seagoing specification with a Beta 85 HP engine (New 2024 with gearbox) and trim tabs.
Full dual helm with change over controls and VHF radio. 

Aft cabin with en suite bathroom/wetroom with toilet, hand basin and shower. The forward seating and pedestal table convert into another double berth.

There is a second bathroom/wetroom (as above) opposite the fully fitted galley, inbuilt oven/grill (gas), 4 ring gas hob, inset sink in formed worktop and a 12 volt fridge.

The heater is warm air diesel.

Digital TV/DVD, sound system, fire extinguishers, fire blanket and engine bay extinguisher, 240 volt wiring for hook-up.

Full safety rails on the deck, horse shoe life buoys with throwing lines, navigation lights and 16 fenders fitted in racks or tied to top rails, side drop down ladders and steps from bathing platform to the upper helm.

A full canopy is fitted giving a large covered area on the upper helm if required. All the sections zip out and and the frame can be lowered, usually done for cruising or bridges.

There are 20 owners in the boat syndicate each having a 5% share that gives
two weeks allocation each year. The allocation of shares is drawn at the AGM in November
for the next but one year. E.g., The 2024 allocations were drawn at the AGM in 2022.

Ranworth Breeze is a 2001 Birchwood 340AC

The boat is of sea going specification with a diesel engine,
trim tabs, bow thrusters, stern thrusters, full deck safety rails and side ladders. We do
however limit the boat to just the Broads now.

The boat is fitted with a full canopy (new in 2021) that can be partially or
fully let down for bridges or cruising.

Dual controls are standard in the boat. There is an aft double cabin with
en-suite toilet/wet room, lounge with seating for 6 people; forward
toilet/wet room a fully fitted galley that includes inbuilt gas oven and
grill (replaced 2022), gas hob and sink, the fridge is 12 volts (replaced 2021). The forward
seating/dinette converts into another double berth.

The heating is hot air diesel



Ranworth Breeze is now self managed by the Management Committee that is made

up of five of the owners voted on at the yearly AGM.
